Qualifications
High school diploma required.
Trade school certification in Tool & Die or Machine Tool Technology preferred.
Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel) required.
Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) required.
Experience with T/F tooling is a plus.
Machine shop experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Review tool setup sheets and verify all required tooling components before installation.
Evaluate die sets and production lines before installation and startup.
Perform tooling installations and equipment adjustments across all production lines.
Conduct line assessments, troubleshooting, and debugging before scheduled production startup.
Adjust tooling according to specifications and complete installation sign-offs.
Support production during post‑changeover startups to ensure products meet quality standards.
Complete Tool Change Acceptance documentation.
Perform general tooling maintenance, inspections, and assembly setups.
Maintain inventory of wear parts, hardware, and shop supplies.
Collaborate with Engineering on tooling reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
Maintain cleanliness and proper operating conditions in the machine shop and tool room.
