Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove seeks a Tooling / Stamping Engineer to build our metal forming capability in Cedar Rapids. This role provides hands-on technical leadership for press-formed parts, tooling design, and equipment implementation, guiding projects from concept through production.

This position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended. Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field.
Five or more years of experience in metal forming, stamping tooling, die design, or manufacturing process engineering.
Experience with press-formed sheet metal components, including drawn parts and progressive coil-fed dies.
Experience developing tooling specifications, sourcing tooling, and working directly with external tool-and-die suppliers.
Hands‑on experience managing tooling projects from concept through production qualification and launch.
Working knowledge of process monitoring, control methods, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action.
Experience specifying or implementing hydraulic or mechanical presses, press cells, or related metal forming equipment.
Proficiency with computer‑aided design tools and the ability to review part and tooling designs.
Ability to work effectively on the production floor and communicate clearly across engineering, operations, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and external suppliers.
Experience forming stainless steel or other highly aesthetic sheet metal components.
Experience with process risk assessments, risk reduction, equipment qualification, and validation.
Experience with metal forming simulation software such as AutoForm, Ansys Forming, or PAM‑STAMP.
Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing using ASME Y14.5 and basic metrology methods.
Experience implementing press cell automation, material handling, sensing, or mistake‑proofing systems.
Experience with large press and tooling capital projects.
Experience supporting a new facility, new line, or major product launch.
