Job summary

ELECTRI FLEX COMPANY is seeking a Tooling Specialist to support production by ensuring tooling and components are machined to the highest quality using conventional machines. You will work with engineering and maintenance and assist with preventive maintenance, breakdowns, and new launches.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in a manual toolroom, with mastery of lathes and mills, and the ability to read 2D drawings and perform precise shop math. Spanish is a plus, and OSHA standards must be observed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a toolmaker or machinist in a manual toolroom.
• Machining certification in machine shop or machining technology is a plus.
• Mastery of conventional lathes, manual mills, and high-precision surface grinders; no CNC required.

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional lathes and mills to machine components for production equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance to ensure quality before installation.
• Support machining during preventive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, retrofits and upgrades.
