Job summary

AMADA in Schaumburg, IL seeks an engineering support professional to develop tooling solutions by analyzing customer requirements and drawings. You will use CAD to evaluate files and specify tooling, then use the CRM to expedite purchases while cooperating with Tooling Sales and Design Engineers.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting tooling configurations, documenting communications, and assisting engineers in delivering custom tooling solutions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and analyze blue prints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Pro-E.
• Strong computer skills: Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to diagnose problems and work independently to resolve issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).

Responsibilities

• Provide tooling solutions and recommendations by analyzing requirements.
• Evaluate application drawings using CAD software to specify tooling.
• Support customers with tooling products and applications issues.
• Expedite orders, quotations and related requests with engineers and sales.
• Document communications with customers and engineers in the internal system.
