Job summary

Pratt Industries in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Tooling Coordinator for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and overtime. You will maintain and organize tooling for production machinery, inspect dies and plates, and ensure tools are ready for scheduled jobs.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, forklift certification may be required, and attention to detail in inventory and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in the Press and Finishing Department.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in the Die Cutter or Flexo Operator.
• Ability to lift and move heavy dies and plates (up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally). Forklift certification may be required.
• Strong attention to detail in inspecting and handling tooling.
• Ability to track and document inventory tooling accurately.
• Must be able to read and follow written instructions, use measuring tools, and apply basic math for measurements and calculations.
• Regular standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and lifting. Must have good vision, including depth perception and color recognition.
• May require a Lift Truck Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, stage, and store tooling for production machinery.
• Ensure tools available for scheduled jobs and coordinate repairs.
• Log tooling numbers and track inventory.
• Document and report repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with supervisors and operators to ensure tooling readiness.
• Lift and move heavier tools as needed.
• Maintain die spreadsheets and CAD print cards documentation.
