Job summary

Pratt is seeking a Tooling Coordinator for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri 11:00 PM–7:00 AM) with occasional Saturdays and overtime. Responsibilities include maintaining tooling for production machinery, inspecting dies and plates, staging tools, and coordinating repairs to keep operations efficient and compliant with safety standards.

The role requires inspecting and organizing tooling, logging inventories, and collaborating with supervisors, machine operators, and other team members to ensure tooling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior tooling or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize tooling for production machinery, inspecting, staging, and storing dies and print plates.
• Ensure tools are available for scheduled jobs and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Inspect dies/plates for wear and document repairs or replacements.
• Log tooling numbers and maintain die spreadsheets for inventory.
• Collaborate with supervisors and operators to ensure tooling readiness; assist with lifting heavier tools as needed.
