Join a Tier 1 automotive supplier with global reach; you'll lead New Model Development projects, coordinate tool sourcing and costings, perform design reviews, and drive progress across engineering and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

  • 4-year engineering degree or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of multitasking.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Experience with sheet-metal stamping processes is preferred.
  • CATIA and AutoCAD experience required.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Job description

Our Engineering Department has a job opening for a Tooling Project Leader. The primary focus of this role is on our New Model Development. The successful candidate will ensure manufacturability, process planning, procurement, scheduling, and installation of sheet metal stamping dies. This is an immediate opening.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sheet metal product formability and develop countermeasures
  • Develop stamping processes and press assignments
  • Optimize material utilization

  • Have critical thinking and excellent communication skills
  • Process development of sheet-metal stampings, experience preferred
  • CATIA & AutoCAD experience
  • Travel required, Domestic and International
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications is a must
