The Tooling Project Engineer provides end-to-end coordination for tooling projects, from initial cost/quote activity through build, qualification, and launch. This role exists to keep tooling on schedule, aligned to print, and performing to expectations while supporting customers and internal teams.

On 1st shift in Calhoun, GA, your day starts by reviewing open tooling timelines and supplier updates, then aligning next steps with clear documentation. You’ll spend focused time in CAD/print reviews, followed by structured check-ins with internal stakeholders and external mold shops to confirm build status and upcoming approvals. As questions arise, you’ll balance customer communication with practical shop-floor context, keeping details organized and decisions traceable. When priorities shift, you’ll adjust plans, support timely issue resolution, and prepare concise updates that keep projects moving. Overtime may be needed to meet milestones, and periodic travel supports supplier visits and key project events.
