Job summary

SHIVELY DIVERSIFIED MANAGEMENT SERVICES, LLC is seeking a Tooling Presetter to support our manufacturing team in Michigan. You will review schedules, prepare materials, and ensure tooling is ready to meet production demands.

Responsibilities include cleaning and preparing tooling, operating basic shop tools, recording test results, and assisting with setup issues. The role requires mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to follow tasks and instruction sheets with minimal supervision.
• Collaborative, works well with others and exhibits teamwork.
• Possess mechanical skills and understanding of tool use.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Comply with safety guidelines and pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Review the daily schedule and ensure all materials are available and ready for use.
• Clean and prepare used tooling.
• Operate hand tools and basic measuring devices.
• Input and communicate test results and billing system information.
• Provide input to help solve manufacturing problems related to setup.
• Operate machine shop equipment (saws, sanders, sandblasters) as needed.
