Shively Diversified Management Services is seeking a Tooling Presetter to support our manufacturing team in Flint, MI. Responsibilities include ensuring materials are available, cleaning tooling, and operating shop equipment to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and basic shop equipment is helpful.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of multitasking and focusing on details.

Responsibilities

• Review daily schedule and ensure materials are available and ready for use.
• Clean and prepare used tooling.
• Operate hand tools and tool measuring devices.
• Input and communicate test results and billing information.
• Assist in solving manufacturing problems related to setup.
• Operate shop equipment such as saws, sanders, and sandblasters as needed.
