Job summary

ManpowerGroup is assisting a manufacturing leader in Edinburgh, IN to fill the Tooling/Mold Technician position on the 2nd shift. You will perform mold changes, troubleshoot mold tools, and support production with safe, efficient operation.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), basic math, ability to read drawings and 3D models, and experience with mold tool maintenance. This role offers growth opportunities in a quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • Basic math skills, including knowledge of shop/mechanical mathematics.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and 3D models.
  • Understanding and experience with mold tool construction and maintenance.
  • Prior injection mold tool maintenance and assembly experience is advantageous.
  • Physical ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 60 lbs and occasionally handle objects over 100 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a team-oriented mindset.

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and tooling, is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Tooling/Mold Technician to join their team. As a Tooling/Mold Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of injection molds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Tooling/Mold Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Edinburgh, IN

Pay Range: $49k-$66k

Shift: Second Shift

What's the Job?
