Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a skilled machinist to set up, troubleshoot, and operate metalworking machinery on a manufacturing floor in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to process development and fixture design while collaborating with leaders and fellow machinists to achieve production targets.

Applicants should have experience with quality measuring equipment, GD&T, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with quality measuring equipment and GD&T.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Safety PPE required on shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate metalworking machinery (CNC centers, wire EDM, mills, lathes, welding).
• Assist with process development and fixture design.
• Collaborate with department lead and team to meet goals.
• Maintain clean work area and assist with maintenance.

Moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping and grasping.Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toed work boots or shoes.Occasional overtime work may be required to meet business demands.
