Job summary

Applied Medical, a leading medical device company in California, seeks a Tooling/Inventory Associate to set up tool kits for machinists, place tooling orders, and manage inventory in the company’s system.

You will interact with vendors, obtain quotes, and ensure adherence to MI, QSR, ISO and SOPs while meeting production schedules and maintaining quality. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and working with SAP, Excel and Office tools. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Technical aptitude to understand machining processes and tooling.
• Strong interpersonal skills for vendor interactions and teamwork.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand/walk frequently.

Responsibilities

• Use set up sheets to prepare tool kits for machinists.
• Order tooling for the department.
• Interact with vendors and obtain quotes.
• Organize and maintain inventory through Applied Medical's inventory control application.
• Follow MI, QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules and safety guidelines.
• Meet schedules and maintain quality standards.
