Job summary

Applied Medical in California seeks a manufacturing support technician to prepare tool kits for machinists, order tooling, and manage inventory using the company system. You will work with vendors, ensure compliance with MI, QSR, ISO and SOPs, and help meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.

The role requires English proficiency and strong interpersonal skills; familiarity with SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

Position Description

• Use set up sheets to prepare tool kits for machinists
• Order tooling for the department
• Interact with vendors and obtain quotes
• Organize and maintain inventory through Applied Medical's inventory control application
• Understand and follow machining policies and instructions (MI), QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules, and safety guidelines
• Meet schedules and maintain quality standards

Position Requirements

• Technical apptitude
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
• Be able to stand/sit/walk frequently
• Be able to push/pull up to 25lbs
• Working knowledge of MIs, QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules and safety guidelines
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred

• Experience maintaing and tracking inventory
• Knowledge of tool life and its basic applications (endmills, drills, inserts)
• Fork Lift Certification
• Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office software, and Excel

The base compensation range for this role is $18 - $23 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
