Job summary

Irby Construction Company, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a detail-oriented Tooling Clerk to support day-to-day tooling, equipment, and administrative needs for its operations. This on-site role emphasizes accurate tooling records, check-in/check-out processes, and general clerical support to help field and office teams operate efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in business/administration preferred.
• Prior clerical, inventory, or operations support experience preferred; entry-level considered.
• Must be comfortable with Windows and Mac; proficient with basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate tool and inventory records, including check-in/check-out activity and locations.
• Assist with issuing, receiving, organizing, and tracking tools and equipment used by field personnel.
• Support routine inventory counts and follow up on missing or damaged items.
• Enter and update tooling data in company systems and logs; print and file documents as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisors on tool availability, returns, and transfers.
• Provide general clerical support to operations and other departments.
