Job summary

FieldCore, a GE Vernova company, seeks a Tooling Associate I to inventory, inspect, test, and assemble toolkits for outages with on‑the‑job training. You will support time‑critical field projects and learn kit preparation processes.

Role requires a high school diploma, 0–2 years’ tool handling experience, basic computer skills, and strong teamwork and communication abilities. Overtime and travel may be required as part of FieldCore operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in tool handling or a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer knowledge: word processing, basic spreadsheets, presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Inventory, inspect, test, and complete toolkits for outages.
• Update project schedules once toolkits pass inspection.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Coordinate, label, and package supplies for outages.
• Perform quality checks on kits and ensure tools are functional.
• Follow maintenance protocols and safety requirements.
• Create restock requests and assist with tool tracking.
