Job summary

Jobot in Madison, WI seeks a Tooling Engineer with SolidWorks and MAGMA experience to support ductile iron casting programs and tooling refinement.

You will partner with customers and account managers, own yield improvements, drive design validation, and lead quotes, launches, testing and validation from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field; bachelor's preferred.
• Two+ years in CAD modeling, blueprint reading and design for manufacturability.
• Manufacturing background with foundry, tooling design, casting simulation or CNC machining is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and cross-team communication.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

• Associate degree in engineering or a related field, bachelor's preferred
• Two or more years working hands on with CAD modeling, blueprint reading and design for manufacturability
• Manufacturing background required, foundry, tooling design, casting simulation or CNC machining experience is a strong plus
• Strong problem solver who communicates well and works across teams easily
