Responsibilities

• Facilitate site tooling management per Dauch Tooling System standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional cooperation in tooling.
• Identify and support quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
• Maintain PFET, tooling drawings and tool layouts (AutoCAD or similar).
• Support tool presetting operations for accuracy and organization.
• Manage tooling inventory, reconditioning and scrap tooling processes.
• Apply problem solving to resolve machining issues.
• Quote cost per unit for new jobs based on tooling life.
