Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Bowling Green, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain efficient manufacturing processes for driveline components. You will support assembly, machining, and testing operations on site, driving continuous improvement and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities include lean execution, time studies, and process capability analyses, plus collaboration with design engineering to ensure manufacturability and compliant SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Strong lean manufacturing experience and continuous improvement tools.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for design and analysis of processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Implement lean manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, SMED) to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Conduct time studies, process capability studies, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate TPM/PM/Predictive Maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Specify, procure, and commission new equipment and tooling.
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability and update SOPs.
