Job summary

Stark Pharma Solutions Inc. is seeking a Tooling Engineer in Arizona to support injection mold tooling design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting throughout the lifecycle of tooling projects. The role covers automation, end-of-arm tooling, 3D CAD modeling, and documentation validation.

You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Production teams, maintain CAD/BOM records, and drive process improvements in a regulated manufacturing environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of engineering or tooling experience.
• Experience with injection mold tooling and plastic injection molding.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and CAD/drawing creation.

Responsibilities

• Support injection mold tooling design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Support injection molding automation and end-of-arm tooling projects.
• Create and update 3D CAD models and 2D tooling drawings.
• Support tooling and automated molding system validation activities.
• Prepare, review, and execute validation documentation.
• Support mold and equipment start-up and process improvement.
• Provide technical support to Quality, Engineering, and Production teams.
• Maintain tooling drawings, CAD files, BOMs, and documentation.
• Support nonconformance, CAPA, and engineering change activities.
• Manage tooling inventory, spare parts, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with tooling vendors and track project milestones.
• Support fabrication and assembly of custom tooling and fixtures.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Design for Manufacturability initiatives.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Tooling Engineer with experience in injection mold tooling, CAD design, tooling validation, and manufacturing support. The ideal candidate will support tooling projects from design and installation through commissioning, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, a four-year technical degree, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of engineering or tooling experience.
• Strong experience with injection mold tooling and plastic injection molding.
• Experience with injection mold design, operation, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D CAD/2D drawing creation.
• Understanding of GD&T and technical drawings.
• Experience with tooling validation and documentation.
• Experience with automation, end-of-arm tooling, fixtures, or manufacturing aids.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
• SAP S/4HANA experience is a plus.
