Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Mold Designer to design, develop and modify molds and tooling for plastic manufacturing, including thermoplastic injection and compression molding. You will update existing mold designs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tooling meets production needs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and at least 3 years of mold design experience, with proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX or AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical/related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of mold design or tooling experience.
• Proficiency with major CAD software and mold construction fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify molds and tooling for plastic manufacturing.
• Update and maintain existing mold designs and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance teams to meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot mold issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
