Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is hiring a Design Engineer II, Tooling to design, develop, and maintain tooling and fixtures for legacy fuzing products. The role requires SolidWorks proficiency and collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, and Test Engineering.

Responsibilities include tooling design and development, 2D/3D drawings with GD&T, tooling maintenance, and continuous improvement to reliability and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with related tooling experience.
• 2–5 years in tooling design or related manufacturing roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tooling and fixtures using SolidWorks.
• Create 2D/3D drawings with GD&T for manufacturability.
• Maintain and improve tooling to enhance reliability and throughput.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Test Engineering teams.
• Support documentation and compliance activities.
