Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to turn engineering intent into precision parts in our Woburn, MA facility. You will prepare, set up, and operate CNC lathes, mills, and grinders to manufacture tooling and components.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on CNC experience, read detailed drawings, and work accurately with micrometers and calipers. Safety, quality, and teamwork are essential to shipping perfect parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; machining education/certification preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Expertise reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming fundamentals and machine operation.
• Strong capability with micrometers, calipers, and other precision gauges.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical, problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and operate CNC lathes, mills, and grinding machines to manufacture precision parts and tooling.
• Translate blueprints, drawings, and specifications into accurate setups and machining strategies.
• Continuously monitor operations, making offset, tooling, and parameter adjustments to maintain quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot common machine issues to keep production on track.
• Verify parts with precision hand metrology, confirming all dimensions and features meet spec.
• Collaborate with teammates to refine processes, shorten cycle times, and increase throughput.
• Uphold 5S principles and all safety protocols to maintain a clean, organized cell.
