The Ash Group is seeking a Tooling Buyer for an innovative aerospace client in Merritt Island or Melbourne, FL. This position entails managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts for tooling and manufacturing equipment. The role offers a pay rate of $49 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental, and a matched 401(k) plan after six months.

Qualifications

• Experience sourcing tooling, manufacturing equipment, fixtures, capital equipment, or industrial services.
• Experience negotiating contracts and purchase orders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships supporting tooling and production requirements.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, conduct price analyses, and develop negotiation strategies.
• Negotiate and administer purchase orders and long-term agreements.
