Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a senior Tool/Test Tool Design engineer to design and redesign tools, jigs and fixtures using computer drafting methods for testing and calibration of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components after circuits are developed.

This role includes creating detailed tool drawings, bills of material, and collaboration with manufacturing teams.

• Experience with manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Experience with computer-aided design methods.

Job description

Tool/Test Tool Design Senior

Design and/or redesign tools, jigs, and fixtures utilizing computer drafting methods. Design and/or redesign tools for testing and/or calibrating hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electronic, electro-mechanical components and/or systems after the circuits have been developed, including the use of computer-aided methods, procedures, processes and equipment. Complete layouts and create detail tool drawings, prepares bills of material and performs related duties as required.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Experience with computer-aided design methods.

Desired Skills

• CATIA V5
• Siemens Teamcenter/NX
• Previous Tool Design experience.
• Some experience working with aircraft manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of Geo-Metric Dimensioning and Tolerance

Pay Information

• $30.77 - $45.80
