Job summary

1 Resource Group is seeking an experienced Tool Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and service a variety of industrial and contractor equipment, including pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic tools, as well as rigging gear. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of related experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced shop environment.

This day shift position may require overtime to meet workload demands.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience repairing tools, equipment, or machinery.
• Experience repairing: manual chain hoists and pullers, pneumatic tools, power tools.
• Must provide personal repair tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine adjustments, testing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair small gas engines.
• Complete required work orders and parts orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed.
• Maintain compliance with all policies and safety standards.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
• Develop core technical skills related to the position.
• Maintain strong attendance and punctuality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
