Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Full-Time Cashier in Houston to assist customers at checkout and uphold our brand and execution standards. You will help tradespeople and weekend warriors get in, get out, and move on with the job, while delivering a friendly and efficient shopping experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, promoting Protection Plans and our credit card, and supporting the team with tasks to better serve customers.

Qualifications

• Spanish language skills preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Service focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers as they enter the store and ensure they enjoy the best shopping experience possible.
• Complete all transactions quickly and accurately.
• Offer Protection Plan on eligible products and our credit card on all customer transactions (incentive pay for selling).
• Be a team player by helping put away product, execute price changes, or other tasks to help your team serve customers.
