Job summary

Milwaukee Valve Company, LLC. is seeking a Tool Room Supervisor to join our Prairie Du Sac, WI team in Department 761. This role leads the Tool Room/Tool Crib staff and drives safe, efficient tooling operations.

Qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of machining or related management experience; a Journeyman’s card is preferred. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; 5 years machining or equivalent management experience flagged.
• Journeyman's card in machining or commensurate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Tool Room and Tool Crib staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
• Coach, plan, monitor and appraise work results; enforce systems, policies and procedures.
• Schedule, assign and monitor work requests; be point of contact for visitors so operations are uninterrupted.
• Provide quality service to internal and external customers and enforce standards.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to improve tool/fixture designs and costs.
• Maintain safe, healthy work environment and compliance with regulations.
• Train Tool Crib and Tool Room staff on crib procedures, safety, and SAP usage.
• Identify and lead initiatives to improve tool availability and reduce downtime.
• Drive standardization of tool storage, naming conventions, and crib processes.
