Job summary

F.E. Moran Group of Companies is hiring a Tool Room Associate in Northbrook, IL. You will assist in the day-to-day operations of the tool room and warehouse, coordinating and delivering equipment and materials for daily operations.

The role requires experience in tool rooms or shipping/receiving and a safety-conscious approach. You will need strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, plus a valid driver’s license for site travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in Tool Room or Shipping/Receiving considered a plus.
• Knowledge of safety practices and inventory control is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling, storing, and delivering equipment, materials and supplies; keep the shop organized.
• Follow warehouse safety regulations while preparing and loading outbound orders for timely delivery.
• Adhere to safety regulations on the shop and on job sites.
• Manage incoming and outgoing tools and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and efficiency.
