Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience managing tool rooms in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of inventory control and parts handling.
• Proficient with CMMS/ERP and MS Office.
• Ability to coordinate across departments.
• Capable of manual handling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tool room operations including issuing, receiving, repairing, and maintaining tools.
• Establish and maintain accurate inventory records using CMMS/ERP systems.
• Ensure storage, labeling, and cataloging of tools and consumables for quick access.
• Monitor tool usage and schedule preventive maintenance or replacements.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure tools and consumables availability to minimize downtime.
• Manage vendor managed inventory to maintain stock of consumables.
• Implement continuous improvement projects for inventory accuracy and storage efficiency.
• Enforce safety policies and proper handling in the tool room.
