Stabil Drill, a Stabil Energy Services company, is seeking a Full-Time Tool Repair Technician in Houston, TX. The role focuses on dismantling, repairing, and reassembling drilling tools while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will support the Supervisor, maintain tool integrity, and uphold QHSE standards in a fast-paced oilfield environment.

Qualifications

• Current knowledge of equipment, materials, and practices used in the oil/gas industry.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to apply common sense to detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Ability to handle problems with a few concrete variables in standard situations.
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Accurate completion/maintenance of reports and records per procedures.

Responsibilities

Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Tool Repair Technicianto join our team in Houston, TX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Dismantle, repair and reassemble drilling tools.
• Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance and proper disposal of debris on property.
• Assist the Supervisor in all aspects of the job.
• Assemble and set up new equipment.
• Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, relevant company/customer QHSE requirements.
• Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.

• Current knowledge of equipment, materials, and practices used in the oil/gas industry.
• Complete tasks and follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
