Ames Tool Corporation in West Milwaukee seeks an experienced Store Manager to oversee tool rental, merchandise sales, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and store operations. You will ensure compliance with policies and drive profitability while delivering excellent customer service.

Lead a team including an Assistant Store Manager and Delivery Drivers, manage cash handling, and coordinate with regional operations to optimize marketing and product assortment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 4+ years related experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Direct supervision of Assistant Store Manager and Delivery Driver.
• Strong customer service, sales and financial acumen.
• Experience with inventory control, cash handling and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute actions to hit rental revenue, sales and profitability goals.
• Develop store financials understanding to drive performance.
• Oversee store openings/closes and inventory planning.
• Ensure proper cash handling, deposits and banking.
• Solicit customer feedback to guide product stocking and marketing.
• Lead merchandising, showroom and warehouse safety and efficiency.
• Drive revenue growth through Ames tools and add-on sales.
• Collaborate with region management for support.
