Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia-Pacific company, seeks a Tool Prep Tech at the Jonesboro, AR facility. The role sets up and operates conventional and special purpose machines to clean production tooling.

Duties include reading blueprints, maintaining tools, performing preventative maintenance, and collaborating with engineers and supervisors to resolve tooling issues. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $23.60 per hour on Monday–Friday shifts.

Qualifications

  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Experience using micrometer and vernier calipers.
  • Experience with production tooling and basic metrology equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and manuals.
  • Maintain and secure work tools.
  • Clean and maintain facility production tooling.
  • Clean and maintain a safe work area.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on tooling.
  • Troubleshoot and recognize damage on tooling.
  • Use a micrometer, vernier calipers, ice cleaning equipment, drill press and other production tools.
  • Work with Supervisors, engineers, production personnel, programmers or others to resolve tool cleaning problems.
  • Develop specs from a general description and draw a sketch of the part to be fabricated.

Your Job Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for individuals to join their dynamic team as a Tool Prep Tech at the Jonesboro, AR facility. The Tool Prep Techs primary responsibility is to set up and operate conventional and special purpose machines to clean production tooling.

Our partners at restaurant chains, supermarkets, convenience stores, food processors, and the distributors that warehouse and ship to these market segments utilize our award-winning performance features in durable packaging that preserves food quality, taste, and texture.

Pay: $21.00 to $23.60

Shifts Available: Monday-Friday 6:45am to 2:45pm

What You Will Do
