Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; supplemental technical or vocational training preferred
• Typically 1–3 years of experience in tool room operations, supply support, inventory control, or related field
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required)
• U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Requisitioning, receipt, verification, storage, identification, issue, inventory and accounting of gages and components used in shop areas.
• Maintain control records of tools/gages requiring calibration and ensure calibration is performed as scheduled.
• Operate tool and stock room to maintain supply levels of expendable and non-expendable tools and equipment.
• Receive, verify, bin, and store items; ensure items are clean and serviceable before storage.
• Select and issue tools and kits as requested; fill out hand receipts and obtain signatures of recipients.
