Job summary

SITE Staffing Inc. is seeking a skilled Tool Mold Maker for our Milwaukee client, a leader in precision tooling. This direct-hire opportunity offers 1st shift (6am-2pm) with overtime on weekends and a paperless, high-tech tool room powered by Mastercam at each workstation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in plastic injection mold building, owns their tools, and can build, repair, and maintain high-quality molds with minimal supervision. Journeyman certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plastic injection mold building experience or successful completion of an apprenticeship program.
• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification/degree is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Build new tooling and components independently with minimal supervision.
• Evaluate tooling and communicate issues to Lead Mold Maker or Supervisor.
• Support and train Mold Maintenance Technicians and Apprentices.

DIRECT HIRE ONLY 1st Shift We are currently seeking a skilled Tool Mold Maker to work with top-of-the-line equipment that generates serious earning potential! Join our Milwaukee-based client that is a leader in precision tooling offering direct hire opportunities with competitive pay based on your experience! Monday-Friday: 1st Shift hours (6am-2pm), overtime on weekends, and access to Mastercam at your own workstation in a paperless, high-tech tool room. Seeking candidates with 3+ years of plastic injection mold building experience, someone with their own tools, and the skills to build, repair, and maintain high-quality molds with minimal supervision. This DIRECT HIRE JOB is for you!!!

Qualifications:

3+ years of plastic injection molding building experience or successful completion of an apprenticeship program.Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification/degree is preferred.High School diploma or equivalent requiredKnowledgeable in current mold-building techniques. This individual should have solid manufacturing concepts in plastic injection mold buildingAbility to read, interpret, and analyze engineering designs and computer-based CAD plans and models.Must possess good written and verbal communication skillsMust have good problem-solving skills and be detail-orientedAbility to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.Prior forklift experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Build new tooling and components independently with minimal supervisionEvaluate tooling and communicate any issues to the Lead Mold Maker or SupervisorSupport and train Mold Maintenance Technicians and ApprenticesOperate a full range of tool room equipmentPerform mold maintenance and in-press mold changesCollaborate with Quality Assurance to resolve quality concernsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentUse required PPE; safety shoes must be worn at all timesPerform additional duties as assignedAll candidates must have their own precision tools.Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of told mold making experience.
