Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Tool / Mold Maker in Lancaster, PA to inspect, repair, and maintain plastic injection molds and tooling. The role ensures molds meet precision standards and supports production with quality tooling.

You will troubleshoot, modify and fabricate components using milling, grinding and EDM, while collaborating with internal teams to optimize mold performance and uphold safety and organization in a busy shop environment.

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

Compensation

$35 - $39 /hr (Dependent on Experience)

Position Summary

This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all plastic injection molds/tools.

Essential Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify molds by cleaning, grinding, and polishing.
• Use various machining processes (milling, grinding, EDM) to maintain molds and fabricate ejector pins.
• Partner with internal teams to understand requirements and recommend enhancements for mold performance.
• Ensure molds meet quality and precision standards to manufacture custom products.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Candidate Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience in Tool/Mold Making for plastic injection molding.
• Willingness to adhere to established procedures and specifications.
• Ability to accurately review blueprints.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Proven experience maintaining accurate records and inventory.

Physical Demands

• Manage multiple projects with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.
• Work in a loud manufacturing environment.
• Occasional need to bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent walking and standing.
