Job summary

And it’s your chance to really shine and contribute to one of the world’s most recognized brands and a beacon for engineering excellence. **What you will be doing*** Adjust and align tools and modify systems on pre-set equipment according to machining specifications* Set and change specialty and standard tools in machining centers (i.e., MAPAL Padded Reamers from single diameter to multi-diameter, and standard tooling systems)* Assemble and reassemble new tools, re-worked tools and prototype tools for tool crib operations* Access tooling re-work capability based on tooling attributes and machining requirements* Verify quality of tooling by inspecting, comparing them to templates, measuring their dimensions, or testing them **Basic Requirements*** High School Diploma/GED and completion of apprenticeship or training program or 3 years previous experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial tooling management in a heavy-duty machining environment* Basic knowledge in a variety of machines and tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists; including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance* Basic knowledge of inventory control systems, manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods* Intermediate mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, carpentry, lubrications, and repair of production machines* Basic knowledge and experience with Siemens 840D CNC machine tool control, Modicon, Allen Bradley, RS Logic 500 & 5000 and CNC programming applications.* Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
