Job summary

Insight Global in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced Tool Maker to fabricate, modify, and maintain tooling, fixtures, and precision components used in manufacturing operations. You will read engineering drawings, operate manual mills, lathes, and grinders, and collaborate with engineers and production teams to support quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a first shift position, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday on a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in tool making or machining with tight tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with manual machines and CNC programming.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify and maintain tooling and fixtures.
• Operate mills, lathes, and surface grinders to spec.
• Collaborate with engineering and production for continuous improvement.
