Job summary

Associated Staffing Inc. is hiring an experienced Tool Maker for a manufacturing company in Hastings, NE. The role requires CNC programming, setup and operation, and precision machining experience with molds and tooling.

Flexible scheduling is available within 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities include reading blueprints and 3D models, operating CNC mills and lathes, fabricating and repairing tooling, and maintaining quality with precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, 3D models, and technical drawings.
• Program, set up and operate CNC mills, lathes and other machine tools.
• Fabricate, modify, repair and maintain molds, dies, fixtures and other manufacturing tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling and mold issues while minimizing production downtime.
• Identify and resolve problems involving product design, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Perform precision machining and grinding.
• Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators and height gauges.
• Participate in design reviews for new tooling.
• Assist Tool Shop and Production personnel with projects as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
