Qualifications

• Completion of a certified Tool & Die Maker apprenticeship program.
• 5+ years of experience in precision machining (milling, turning, grinding, EDM).
• Able to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong GD&T understanding and application.
• Experience operating and programming CNC machinery.

Responsibilities

• Interprets blueprints and engineering drawings to plan machining operations.
• Fabricates, modifies, and repairs complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Operates lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs with precision.
• Performs bench work including fitting, filing, and polishing.
• Conducts quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoots tool performance and design issues.
• Collaborates with design engineers and production teams to optimize tool functionality.

Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience
