Job summary

MSI Mold Builders in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a full-time Tool Maker on 2nd shift to create and produce tooling that matches part drawings. You will operate a surface grinder, manual mill, drill press and spotting press as part of a collaborative team, interpreting blueprints and assisting the assembly group.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of industry experience.
• Journeyman toolmaker education required.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as a surface grinder, manual mill, drill press, and spotting press.
• Read blueprints and apply your knowledge to mold-making projects.
• Coordinate with assembly team members and attend company meetings.
