Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press for building new dies and unloading/loading dies for repair.
• Study blueprints and specifications to fabricate tools, dies, or assemblies.
• Verify dimensions and alignments using measuring instruments.
• Set up and operate machining tools to shape parts.
• Fit and assemble parts to make or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools.
• Inspect finished dies for quality and defects.
• Position and secure machined parts during work processes.
• Operate drill presses.
