Qualifications

Job Details: Pay Range: $30.00-$41.00 an hour

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 12 hours Day Shift, 6:00 am rotation shifts

Sign-On Bonus: $1000.00 after 90 days

Purpose

Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plastic injection molds to meet production requirements and quality standards. Support other departments to improve performance and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Repair, modify, and service high precision plastic injection molds and related tooling, ensuring OEE KPI targets.
  • Study blueprints to determine material dimensions, equipment needs, and operation sequences.
  • Support other departments to resolve quality and production issues.
  • Maintain parts inventory and perform data entry accurately.
  • Record specifications, production operations, and final dimensions for standards development.
  • Protect intellectual property and confidential information.
  • Support and maintain all company policies including ISO/BRC standards, health and safety requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Education/Skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent; fluent in English.
  • Minimum 3 years of mold repair experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Tool Room machines (mills, grinders, lathes, EDM).
  • Welding experience (preferred, 2 years).
  • Experience working in an injection molding environment (preferred, 3+ years).
  • Mold troubleshooting skills required.
  • Ability to polish cores and cavities required.
  • Proficiency in Scientific Injection Molding principles (preferred).
  • Ability to work on hot runner systems and connect/test molds (preferred).
Technical Skills
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Blueprint reading (preferred).
  • Experience using overhead cranes for mold installation (preferred).
  • Running EDM machines and making electrodes (preferred).
