Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Tool Hookup Mechanical Project Manager to guide Facilities Services and supervise Tool Hookup projects. You will coordinate with Line Planning and external designers, oversee tool installs, and review design packages to ensure safety and code compliance.

Responsibilities include KPI data collection, technical reporting, and development of site specifications for ongoing improvements. AutoCAD skills and knowledge of semiconductor facilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management experience in semiconductor facility support or IT Infra.
• Experience in system engineering, automation engineering, or system development is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand design plans, shop drawings, and work in progress.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, IBC, and related codes for industrial facility design and construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Facilities Services personnel and may supervise projects.
• Assist DX (Digital Transformation) projects within Tool Hookup.
• Maintain site mechanical drawings with Line Planning and design teams.
• Coordinate with contract designers to execute design packages as needed.
• Oversee tool installs, laterals, GCS, and electrical installations.
• Perform technical writing and presentations for KPI data and reports.
