Yates Services is seeking a Tool Grinding Technician with 3+ years of experience in setting up and operating manual or CNC grinding equipment. The role requires precision, strong math skills, blueprint reading, and the ability to track jobs and record time using computer systems.

Training is available for the right motivated candidate. Candidates should be able to work with little supervision, adapt to change, and meet daily production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Grind tools to print, maintain tolerances and surface finishes.
• Strong math skills and accurate information communication.
• Experience preferred but training available for right candidate.
• Track jobs and record time using computer systems; operate multiple CNCs as needed.
• Edit grinding programs and record changes; monitor production rates.
• Self-motivated, able to work with little supervision and meet daily deadlines.
• Read blueprints, adapt to change, stay detail-oriented in a manufacturing environment.

Yates Services is looking for a Tool Grinding Technician with 3 or more years of experience setting up and operating Manual or CNC Grinding Equipment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be able to grind tools to print to support production volumes and be able to maintain tolerances and surface finishes as required.
• Candidates should possess good math skills and be able to communicate information accurately.
  Experienced individuals in tool grinding are preferred but will provide training to the right motivated candidate.
• Candidates must possess good computer skills to track jobs and record time, operate multiple CNCs as needed, and perform other tool room duties when required.
• Candidates must be able to edit grinding programs and record changes and record production rates.
• Candidates should be self-motivated and be able work with little supervision to meet daily production deadlines, adapt readily to change, have attention to detail, good organizational skills, read and evaluate blueprints, possess good problem-solving skills, and have some knowledge of the manufacturing environment. Must be willing to work any shift.
