Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Tool & Die Technician. The main function is to support tooling across the plant and provide machining services for all manufacturing departments.

This is a 2nd shift position; Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am, Tulsa, OK. You will coordinate with departments on tooling issues, manage tooling personnel, track job time, troubleshoot tooling in the press or mill, perform CNC programming and operation (EDM, lathe, mill),

Qualifications

• High school diploma/trade school preferred.
• Preferred Journeyman status.
• 5-7 years’ experience with progressive/compound/pierce and draw dies.
• Lean and 5S Training.
• Experience with tube/roll mills.
• Operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Wire EDM operation and programming.
• AutoCAD/Solidworks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with departments on tooling and machining issues.
• Manage tooling personnel within the department.
• Track job time.
• Troubleshoot tooling in the press or mill.
• CNC programming and operation (EDM, lathe, mill).
• Tool Design and fabrication.
• Mastercam programming.
• Work with maintenance to decrease downtime on equipment.
