Job summary

Dunbarton Corporation is seeking a Tool & Die Technician to build, repair, and troubleshoot production tooling by interpreting specifications, using CAD designs, and setting up machine tools on the production floor.

You will program and operate CNC and conventional machines, verify dimensions with precision instruments, perform preventive maintenance, and support LEAN initiatives while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in tool and die manufacturing and maintenance.
• 2+ years of professional experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, CAD models, and specs to design and modify tooling.
• Operate CNC and conventional machinery to produce tooling.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances with precision measuring instruments.
• Assemble, fit, adjust, and repair dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Diagnose tool and machine issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train operators on tooling use and maintenance.
