Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to analyze specifications, lay out material stock, and set up, operate and program machine tools to fabricate and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. The role requires following TPM and 7S standards and collaborating with engineers to resolve production issues.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, plus a machinist certificate or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; One year machinist certificate from college or technical school; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Know what it takes to have a safe workplace IATF-16949 Quality Systems Requirements ISO-14001 Environmental Management Systems Problem Solving

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program machine tools and inspection equipment and verifies conformance of machined parts to specification
• Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly and tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance
• Maintains 7S standards and participates in TPM activities as required
• Communicates with engineers and production personnel to resolve machining and production problems
