Challenge Manufacturing is seeking skilled die makers to troubleshoot, set up, and operate tooling and machine tools for precision metal parts. You will read specifications, verify dimensions, and ensure parts meet quality standards in a high‑volume environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and a journeyman or apprenticeship background, with 2+ years of tool and die experience preferred. The role requires reading English well and occasional extended shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; journeyman or apprenticeship preferred.
• Mechanical and shop math aptitude essential; ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Study specs and blueprints to determine materials and machines.
• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders.
• Verify machined parts meet specifications and tolerances.
• Heat treat tools or parts and inspect dies and tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling and participate in design modifications as needed.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
