Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Wisconsin is seeking a Tool - Die Maker to work on stamping dies and plastic injection tooling. You will apply tool and die making skills to improve manufacturing processes and support new product launches alongside operations, engineering and technicians.

You will verify dimensions, study blueprints, troubleshoot tooling, set up CNC equipment, and perform fittings and assemblies. Candidates should have journeyman-level stamping and injection molding die repair experience, with

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience in stamping and forming.
• 5 years' experience with stamping and Injection Molding die repair.
• Experience with aluminum stamping and machining is a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical status to engineering or operations.
• Experience with SolidWorks or NX is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts.
• Study blueprints, sketches, and models to repair or fabricate tools and dies.
• Set up and operate conventional or CNC machine shop equipment.
• Inspect tooling for production readiness.

The primary duty is to utilize tool and die making skills to contribute to manufacturing improvements in both existing manufacturing processes and new products.
